Extra services

All kite lessons include the whole kite equipment with the wetsuit and the harness.

After your last lesson with me, I will certify your kite level and you will get a certification for free. This certification allows you to rent kitesurf gear at any kitesurf school in the world.

Yes, the kiter liability insurance covers you against claims arising from injury and damage to persons and / or property.

Extra services

I am a photographer & videographer and capture the most important moments of your kitesurf experience. I will edit the pictures and create a 1-minute video for 30€ a day and an additional 10€ for every extra day.

After your last lesson with me, I will certify your kite level and you will get a certification for free. This certification allows you to rent kitesurf gear at any kitesurf school in the world.

Are you afraid of Kitesurfing? There is no need to be worried. Everyone over a weight of 30kg can securely learn Kitesurfing and your progression is guaranteed.

Kitesurf Lesson around Lisbon

Main Location

Fonte da Telha

Fonte da Telha is south from Lisbon. It is a 35-minute drive from Lisbon to Fonte da Telha. We can kite all year at this beautiful location. The pinned location on Google Maps is where you will find me teaching.

Optional Location

Lagoa de Albufeira

Lagoa de Albufeira is south from Lisbon. It is a 45-minute drive from Lisbon to the lagoon. The advantages of the lagoon are the standing area and shallow water. The pinned location on Google Maps is where you will find me teaching.

Frequently asked questions

I teach in German and in English.

We have to be aware that Kitesurfing is an extreme sport and accidents can happen. Therefore, all the students are required to wear a helmet and a vest. I only teach in safe wind conditions and the safety system allows to release the connection of the kite immediately. Kitesurfing can be dangerous if you don’t learn it with a certified Kitesurf-instructor.

The best way is to drive with a car and it takes around 30-45 minutes to get from Lisbon to Fonte da Telha or Lagoa de Albufeira. Another possibility is to ride with me from Lisbon to the location for 5 Euros per trip. The applications Bolt and Uber can be used, which coast around 25-40 Euros. Over Google Maps, you can find the available public transport, which takes approximately 1 1/2 hours from Lisbon to Fonte da Telha.

There is no minimum age to learn kitesurfing but the student should be over 40kg.
